MOTION GRAPHICS AND ANIMATION
BEHOLD!
Here is a show reel I’ve produced comprised of selected clips from professional works as well as media tests and experiments I’ve done over the last few years.
This show reel demonstrates skills I’ve learnt whilst experimenting with after effects and Illustrator. These skills include:
- Character Rigging- Character animation
- Graphic Design
It should be noted that a couple of clips contained here have graphic design elements created by others as a part of a creative team. I included those as I was the animator of the team and feel these clips demonstrate my abilities to create and animate character rigs from other’s designs.
I hope you enjoy what you see.
TIMMY AND BOO: DOG FIGHt RINGERS
Timmy and his imaginary friend Boo are short on cash and out of pizza. What are these two best friends to do? Get a job? Pfft. who wants to do that. Scam a dog fighting ring? Now we're talking.
AFTER YEARS THIS FILM IS FINALLY DONE! Timmy and Boo is a dark comedy about a young naïve 9 year old (Timmy) traversing the dark corners of the world around him with his con artist imaginary friend (Boo). If you liked it give us a share.
Timmy and Boo: Dog Fight Ringers is a cartoon pilot I had been working on intermittently for the last 7 years.
The film began as a part of my final film assignment at university, however this project was too ambitious for the time I had and unfortunately only the first 6 minutes of the script was completed. Since then I continued working on the cartoon off and on using the film as a sort of experimental sandbox to develop my skills further. The end result is this scrappy, visually expressive abomination filled with crude humour and gross visual gags. It’s also a love letter to a lot of the cartoons that inspired me growing up and continue to inspire me to this day :)
